On July 14, 1992, Ken Griffey, Jr. hit a home run against Greg Maddux in the All-Star Game. During the CBS broadcast, Tim McCarver said, “He [Griffey, Jr] became the 9th All-Star player under the age of 21.” That is not correct. Griffey, Jr. was the 14th All-Star under the age of 21. Order Year […]

This is it. The big one. Game 7. At the start of the series, I printed out scorecards for seven games. I never really thought I would need all seven. When the Indians took the series lead 3-1, the Cubs were on the verge of losing the World Series. At the start of every game

So many incredible moments from game six to illustrate Grand slam, pair of homeruns by #Bryzzo, diving catch by Heyward, goofy errors by Indian outfielders, strikeout record almost tied, the incredible bullet throw by Heyward, the scoop play by Báez, super-fraction close call play by Chapman, and this game enabled us to a game 7!

Most of us have lived through many losing years with the Cubs with a few highlight years committed to memory, 1969, 1984, 1989, 2003, 2007, etc. My daughter Julia born this year–all she knows is a winning Cub team. Not just a winning

Another action-packed scorecard from a Cubs game. Simple and clean scorecards are nice, but I much prefer a scorecard that has lots of observations, factoids, and drawings mixed into the square boxes. I always look forward to keeping a scorecard at Wrigley to create a unique perspective from the game. This year is extra exciting,
